a whole new ball game for bod and amy...

Amy Huberman and Brian O'Driscoll brought their new bundle of joy home last week, and the mother of two is now getting used to her new son Billy.

Amy (35) is already mother to Sadie, who will turn two in February, and the actress has been sharing with her followers some funny differences between boys and girls.

"People give out about men and their bad aim but Jesus, they've come a long way from peeing straight over their own heads as babies," Amy wrote online.

"It's every man, woman and child for himself when nappies get changed."

Rugby legend Brian has also been sharing his experiences on becoming a dad for the second time.

"Ah yes, the 11 o'clock feed, how I'd forgotten your existence," he tweeted.

Newborn Billy is obviously keeping the pair on their toes as Amy has told of how tired she is.

"When you're too tired to care if the face cloth you're using to wash your face was the same one used to wash your child's a**e," she wrote.

Billy was born at the National Maternity Hospital on November 20 and they brought him home to their renovated Goatstown mansion five days later.

Brian made his first public appearance since the birth last Wednesday night when he appeared at the Bord Gais Energy Irish Book Awards, where he won the award for Best Sports Book for his biography, The Test.

"My wife is at home tonight minding the children and I can't tell you how grown-up that sounds," he said during his acceptance speech.

"Amy has been amazing support and is a great author in her own right - who knows what people want to enjoy reading. Amy, I love you."
