WHISKEY manufacturing group Irish Distillers will create 60 new jobs in Dublin and Cork.
The company has unveiled plans for a €100m investment in its plant at Midleton in Co Cork.
The move comes as there are increasing demands for its Jameson whiskey worldwide.
Thirty permanent jobs will be created at the company's bottling plant at Fox and Geese in Dublin and a further 30 will come online at the company's plant in Midleton.
The group anticipates that about 250 people will be employed during the 15-month construction period, with work due to begin on site next year, subject to planning permission.
