FRESH fruit and vegetable group Total Produce has returned a 5pc jump in revenue to €1.4bn in the first half of the year.
The company said that profits before tax also increased by 6.2pc to €25m.
Carl McCann, Chairman, said that the strong performance for the first half of 2012 with a 6.7pc increase in adjusted earnings per share was helped by the contribution of acquisitions in the past 12 months.
"We are pleased to report that the group has concluded over €20m of investments in the first half of 2012," he said.
"We are increasing our full-year earnings per share target towards the upper end of the range between 7 and 8c per share."
