100 high-end jobs at financial firm

DUBLIN will benefit from 100 high-end jobs at a newly established international finance company.

Aztec Money plans to fill multi-lingual roles in the areas of data processing, marketing, sales and IT over the next two years.

The company specialises in linking investors to SMEs and bigger companies to provide instant cash flow.

Aztec Money already employs 30 people in Dublin and the new jobs will be based at George's Quay in the city.

Oliver Gabbay, chief operating officer of Aztec Money, said Ireland was an obvious choice for the new headquarters because of the opportunities to develop the business, adding: "Our product will provide exporting SMEs with access to a global network of institutional investors who can purchase invoices, thus providing these companies with immediate access to cash flow."

Jobs minister Richard Bruton said: "We in government will continue working hard to ensure that we can attract further international investment to Ireland and help create the jobs we need."
