Nangle's OG puts Students through

UCD have scored an early season triumph by knocking Bohemians out of the Leinster Senior Cup as the Students overcame Bohs 2-1 in extra time on a poor surface at Dalymount Park yesterday.

The tie went to extra-time after a late Dave Scully equaliser for Bohs cancelled out the lead goal from Gary Burke, but former UCD man Ciaran Nangle, making his Bohs debut, scored an own goal to give Martin Russell's side the win.
