Blanc a contender for United if Mourinho lands Paris posting

Jose Mourinho is edging closer to a move to France instead of Old Trafford after Paris St Germain opened talks with the former Chelsea manager's agents.
Mourinho had been expected to take over at Manchester United in the summer in the wake of that club's struggles this term. But another club whose expectations have not been met, PSG, are also keen to bring in the Portuguese coach to bring them closer to their target of a Champions League success.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc signed a new two-year deal with the club only two months ago, but while he has already landed the French title already and could win a domestic treble, defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League may see him ousted.
A former United player who has the backing of Alex Ferguson, a PSG exit could see Blanc take over at Old Trafford if, indeed, Mourinho opts for Paris over Manchester.
While PSG have yet to hold talks with Mourinho himself, reports in Paris claim that discussions have taken place with his advisors. United still keep faith - in public - with Louis van Gaal, but failure to qualify for the Champions League next season could be very damaging.
United take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash with Everton.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez confirmed that Seamus Coleman will miss tonight's Merseyside derby with a hamstring injury and is a doubt for the Cup game. With a list of players already absent due to injury - Aiden McGeady and Daryl Murphy missing again last night for their clubs in the Champoinship - Martin O'Neill is eager to see Coleman back in the Toffees side.
