Mum of nine caught driving while banned

A BANNED driver who was caught behind the wheel of a car has said she has battled a drink problem ever since her husband walked out on her and their nine children for another woman almost a decade ago.

Kathleen Cash (47) of Daletree Place in Tallaght, admitted before Tallaght District Court to driving without insurance or a driving licence. Judge James McDonnell fined her €500, banned her from driving for 10 years and sentenced her to six months in prison.
