CORMAC KIRWAN is heading up the new football management trio at Round Tower, Clondalkin. He has gained plenty of experience with a number of Kildare clubs, including Naas.
Cormac also assisted behind the scenes with Jim Gavin's Dublin under-21s two years ago.
He won a Dublin U21FC title with Tower's back in 1989.
So did Ben Taylor, who has also come on board with another Hoops stalwart, Caimin Keane, who has just returned from a foreign tour with the Defence Forces.
Their priority for 2011 is to be in the frame for promotion to Division 1 come the business end of the season.
BAN the Ban... that seems to be the common cry more and more regarding the GAA's winter training ban. DCU's Niall Moyna took part in an interesting discussion on the subject on RTé's Saturday Sport show. The world and it's mother and father know that teams have been training in November and December. And who can blame them.
