McDs taps into Irish

McDonald's Ireland has teamed up with Limerick-based Ballygowan Natural Mineral Water to become the exclusive bottled water supplier to McDonald's 81 restaurants across Ireland.

McDonald's Ireland sells over 1.25 million bottles water in Ireland annually.

Adrian Crean, managing director of McDonald's Ireland, said the firm was committed to buying Irish.

"The switch to Ballygowan Natural Mineral Water now means that all the beef, milk, cheese, eggs and water sold in our restaurants is 100pc Irish," he said.
