Little Lucy steals the show on Late Late
MEET the little Dublin girl who stole the heart of X Factor winner Joe McElderry during the Late Late Toy Show.
Little Lucy Carolan (8), from Crumlin, was demonstrating the X Factor karaoke machine and singing McElderry's No 1 hit The Climb when the pop star emerged from the background.
He praised Lucy for her singing, giving her further credit for being so brave in front of a live studio audience.
A delighted Lucy then got a hug from McElderry for her efforts. Lucy was on the show with her two older brothers to demonstrate the latest computer games and remote controlled helicopters.
Dozens of children from around the country got to show self-styled 'young fogey' Ryan Tubridy how to get to grips with the latest toys and gadgets, including Dublin boy Harry Behan.
The show wrapped up with a performance from pupils in Balbriggan school St Mologa's NS. Joe McElderry told Lucy and the live audience that he was a huge fan of Mary Byrne and was hoping that she would do well.
