Lindsay 'exhausted but fine' after latest health scare

PARAMEDICS rushed to a Los Angeles hotel last night to treat an exhausted Lindsay Lohan - but the actress was seen in her room and said to be "fine".

Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution.

"Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration," her spokesman Steve Honig said.

"Lindsay was never taken to a hospital, reports to the contrary are false. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon," he said.

A Los Angeles TV station first reported that the 25-year-old actress, who has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction in the past, was found unconscious and rushed to hospital.

The report raised alarm because Lohan has been in and out of trouble since a 2007 arrest for drug possession and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Since then, speculation in Hollywood has been rampant that the star might join a long list of celebrities who have succumbed to addictions.

Mr Honig said the actress had "worked a gruelling schedule the past few days".
