Lilywhites can overcome loss of star forward Doyle
O'BYRNE CUP SEMI FINAL
KILDARE v LOUTH
(Newbridge, Tomorrow, 2.15; Live TG4)
THE Lilies will be without the services of star forward John Doyle as well as Morgan O'Flaherty as the fallout from last week's bruising encounter against Laois continues.
The void left by Doyle is even more significant as Alan Smith has been omitted from the panel by manager Kieran McGeeney.
Mikey Conway (knee) and Eamonn Callaghan (groin) remain on the treatment table.
Louth boss Peter Fitzpatrick will be hoping his new-look charges can build on some early season promise against their more illustrious opponent.
"The Wicklow and the Athlone IT game, we didn't learn too much from them. We're hoping now that we've got one of the big boys, it'll tell us exactly where we are," said Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick may give Mark Brennan some action after his return.
