It's been a year since she became a mum for the first time, and it seems broadcaster Maura Derrane can't get over how quickly her young son is growing up.
Maura and her TD husband John Deasy became parents last year when the presenter gave birth to their son Cal.
As the youngster turned one earlier this week, Maura admitted she "can't believe" the time has passed so quickly.
The Today Show presenter expressed her amazement on Twitter, where she publicly wished her little boy a happy birthday.
"Can't believe my little baby is a year old today. Happy birthday Cal X," the mum-of-one wrote.
The 44-year-old recently said she has no plans to have any more children because she is "too old".
However, the TV star admitted she sometimes wishes her son had a brother or sister.
"Before I had Cal, I would have said no [to having children earlier], but now that he's a bit older and I think about it. It would have been nice to have another child," she said.
"I mean, I'm not going to, I'm too old, but in hindsight it might have been nice for Cal."
Speaking to the RTE Guide, Maura said that nothing could prepare her for becoming a mother.
"You can read all the books you want - forget it, you might as well burn them in a bonfire.
"Nothing can prepare you for another person that you're totally responsible for.
"I love it but it's a juggling act."
