During the Flora Women's Mini Marathon, around 100,000 250ml bottles of Ballygowan water are distributed to the 40,000 participants.
That's 25,000 litres of water.
For a bit of fun, Fiat's number crunchers have been busy with their calculators. They estimate that if a fleet of 10,000 Fiat 500 TwinAir cars, each carrying four women, drove around the 10km course, they would use up 5,000 litres of fuel.
That's based on the TwinAir's average fuel consumption figure for city driving. However, since each car is more than 3.5m in length, the fleet of Fiat 500s would cover the entire length of the run three and a half times over.
Which means it's probably best everyone sticks to running the 10km -- with one lucky participant driving off in a brand new Fiat 500 at the end!
