Former RTE presenter Diana Bunici says boyfriend and Kodaline frontman Steve Garrigan is not what "you would imagine a rock star to be".
The pair have been dating for a year (inset) but both of them have remained tight-lipped about their relationship until now. Diana says she didn't know much about the band when she first met Steve.
"I think I knew All I Want and obviously I'd heard it on Grey's Anatomy. Kodaline came up, but Steve would not be the kind of guy to say, 'I'm in a band'," she said.
"He's really nice and humble and quite shy and doesn't have an ego about him - he's not as you would imagine a rock star to be."
Diana even admitted she had to Google him after their first date.
"When I meet someone, I don't judge him or her on their status or if they're famous or their job - If I get on with them, I get on with them."
Diana (26) lives in London while Steve is either touring or based at his parents' house in Swords, but she is determined to make her mark in the English capital. "I don't know a lot of people there but I've worked super hard to arrange lots of meetings, introducing myself to various producers, production houses and talent scouts," she said.
