'I hardle noticed them there to be honest'

When Karl and Kali Stanley married it never occurred to them not to invite their family and friends' children.

"Not very many of our family or friends had children at that stage, but any that did, their names were included on the invitation.

"Our venue was small and we were restricted by numbers for the meal, but anyone we couldn't accommodate we invited to the party afterwards.

"I didn't have flower girls or page boys or any children taking part as such, but I didn't know any!

"There were several children on Karl's side of the family, his brothers had small children, and there were several older cousins -- teenagers, they all came. They were all very well behaved; I hardly noticed them there to be honest."
