Becca goes for beauty in the buff

ACCORDING to its founder, Rebecca Morrice Williams, the Australian makeup brand Becca is based on the philosophy of "creating a natural, flawless look. It’s about skin looking amazing," she says, "everything else is secondary."

Morrice Williams, a professional make-up artist, created the brand after finding it impossible to get the perfect foundation. It took six years to develop but she finally came up with a foundation that looked natural, felt like no make-up was being worn, and stayed on all day. From there, a three-step process to the perfect base developed and became the brand’s cornerstone.

The Skin Perfecting Make-up System is designed to correct, perfect and enhance the complexion, while letting customers choose the level of coverage and finish they want.

With more than 34 shades of concealer and 30 shades of stick foundation, the brand has earned a reputation for offering some of the best skin tonematching base products on the market. It has shades ranging from the palest (Meringue) to the darkest (Molasses).

As well as foundations and concealers the brand features soft, pretty eye, lip and cheek shades. The seasonal palettes are best sellers and the eye tints make a great eye shadow primer.

In October 2001, Becca made its international debut at London’s SPACE.NK, followed by Bergdorf Goodman in New York in 2003. These days the brand is available the world over.
