Lancôme's 60s-inspired spring collection hits counters this Friday and it's all about coral lips and striking, aqua-green eyes.
The brand's artistic make-up director Aaron De Mey (pictured left) has application tips for getting the best out of key products. Pop'N'Cheeks (La Rose Premiere), €45, a pearly blush in coral and sand tones.
Aaron's Tip: "Blend the shades together with a large brush and apply generously, sweeping from cheekbones to temples. To sculpt the face, use the light shades on cheekbones and the darkest shade in the hollow of the cheeks.
"It can also be applied to the eyes, using a shading technique: begin by applying the lightest shade along the brow line, then work towards the lash line using gradually darker shades of the same colour."
Pop'N'Palette Le Crayon Khôl Gloss, €23 (a high-shine eye pencil in three shades).
Aaron's Tip: "Apply as a block of colour over the eyelid, before adding a
touch of powder shadow to the corner of the eyes to sculpt the eyelid, playing on a matte-shine contrast for this season's must-have look."
