Eve Hewson goes from being 'dangerously single' to cosying up with movie star pal Max Minghella

She recently described herself as being "dangerously single", but Bono's actress daughter Eve Hewson appears to be cosying up to actor Max Minghella.
Despite insisting she is happily single, the Dublin screen star (24) has been pictured getting close with The Social Network actor Max Minghella.
The pair looked happy as they strolled around New York together recently.
With her father being one of the world's most famous rockstars, Eve certainly has plenty in common with her 28-year-old beau, whose father Anthony was an Oscar-winning director, behind movies including The Talented Mr Ripley and The English patient.
Both Eve and Max are also fresh out of relationships with other high-profile actors, with the Irish actress seeing One Tree Hill star James Lafferty for four years and Max having dated House of Cards star Kate Mara.
Just last week, Eve said she's happily single since her break-up with Lafferty, with whom she had a notoriously private relationship.

"My sister says, 'You need to look more available,'" Eve said. "She's like, 'You're so confident in yourself, you look like you have a boyfriend. I'm 23, I don't need a boyfriend. It's so much fun being on your own."
The young film star, who had her big break starring alongside Sean Penn in This Must Be The Place in 2011, has already carved out a successful career in the industry and is determined not to be known simply because her father is U2's Bono.

"There's the cliche of the celebrity kid with a fragrance and a handbag line and they design jewellery on the side and maybe dabble in acting," she said.
"I've always been very particular about the fact that [acting] is the one thing I want to do."
She previously said that having the Dublin rock star as her dad hasn't necessarily helped her in Hollywood.
"What's great about Hollywood is that it is so cut-throat, and it really f**king doesn't matter who you are. If you're not right for the part, you're not right the part," she said.
