Actress Cameron Diaz has said her new health book addresses issues faced by young women in today's society – including the need to 'embrace your hunger'.

The Hollywood star has written The Body Book, offering advice on fitness, health and well-being.

Diaz (above) said: "Food is your friend and you have to embrace your hunger absolutely – you are going to be hungry for the rest of your life.

"You have to feed your hunger, honour your hunger, because it's not going to go away. I eat constantly."
