Musician and actress Camille O'Sullivan talks NYE parties and Christmas gifts…
Do you ever make New Year's resolutions?
"Yeah, but I always break them. I'm a winter baby, I love Christmas, but my birthday is December 30, so I'm usually having a slight meltdown that I'm a year older, then I do my resolutions and by January 1, I've broken all of them. I've decided I should start my resolutions now if they're gonna happen!"
What's on your Christmas wish-list?
"A makeover - I need it! This year will be my daughter's second Christmas, so I'm thinking about the things I'd like to get her, or to make her, because I think she's too young. I don't want to be buying her crazy toys, or queuing up for Elsa dolls. The wish list is I get my act together to make her a special present."
What's your favourite New Year's Eve memory?
"I must have had a lot of drink because it's all merging into one! I travel so much, and I am usually in other places, but one of the nicest New Year's I ever had was with my friends and family at the bell-ringing outside Christ Church. I'm a big fan of church bells, especially at this time of year, and I'm a homing pigeon - when I hear them, I've got to be near them. They were setting those little lanterns on fire, going into the air, and people were hugging each other, so that was a special one."
