Leo backs students

LEINSTER rugby star Leo Cullen has thrown his weight behind a new campaign to encourage university students to become socially responsible business leaders.

Ireland has become the 39th country to join Students in Free Enterprise. A total of 1,500 universities have signed up and almost 50,000 students are involved in nearly 8,700 projects to develop their skills and become innovators for social change.

Student representatives from four Irish universities -- DCU, NUI Galway, Trinity College Dublin and UCD -- are competing to represent Ireland at the SIFE 2012 World Cup in Washington DC.
