Launch of golf guide

WITH the recent success of the Irish Open, Northern Ireland is maintaining its status as the "golfing capital of the world", according to tourism chiefs.

The Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) has now launched a new golf guide, encouraging everyone to explore its courses.

The guide, Northern Ireland Made for Golf, is aimed at everyone from the dedicated golfer to the enthusiastic novice, and people can get a copy at NITB's Tourist Information Centre in Suffolk Street, Dublin 2.
