Jetsetter Daniella hopes LA is the start of a journey

The model has just returned from a whirlwind back-packing trip around Poland, Israel and Hungry.

"I was travelling with a group of friends. We started out in Budapest, then went to Jerusalem, and Warsaw – all within five days. It was pretty manic."

Daniella (25) took in all the sights and sounds but says a trip to the Dead Sea was definitely a highlight.

"It was amazing. It feels like you're on the moon or something. It's such a bizarre feeling. I would recommend trying it if you haven't done anything yet.

"But all the places were amazing and the snow in Warsaw got me in the Christmas spirit."

The Kildare model and TV presenter is heading back to LA next for a series of screen trials for US TV execs.

"It's exciting but you have to take all this with a pinch of salt."

And with all this travelling under her belt, would she be interested in fronting a No Frontiers style travel show?

"I mean I love to travel and that would be an incredible job but we'll have to see how things go.

"I don't like talking about things because then you're the girl who's always talking about projects but never doing them," she said.
