I've lost all the pictures for my new book – Twink
PANTO queen Twink is "beside herself with grief" after losing her camera with irreplaceable photos for her new book.
The performer broke down in tears as she explained how the camera was left in a trolley at Dublin Airport last Saturday when she and ex-husband David Agnew were collecting their daughter Chloe, who is home from LA for Christmas.
"It has all the pictures for my new book, there are over a thousand of them and they're not backed up.
"It has months of work of my intricate, hand-painted cakes," Twink (inset) said.
She explained that it had a "dog-rough year" where she was "physically crippled with pain" after an accident.
"I spend all my Christmas being fairy godmother and I'd like someone to be mine," said the entertainer in the hope that "some decent person" would return the camera to her.
She explained how David emptied the trolleys in the airport but left her red Panasonic camera in the basket as they "drove away blissfully unaware".
It's a "well-travelled camera that owes me nothing", said the star who is "begging" for people's help. Her main concern is the memory card which has photos of her cakes covered in sugar lace and glass-blown stars that she spent her year working on after her accident. "There is no way of replacing the photos which were all taken recently. It's at times like these that I say God damn technology, there are no negatives anymore," she said.
The Panasonic Lumix camera never left her house as it held so much "precious work" but on Saturday morning she took it with her for her daughter's special arrival home for Christmas.
YOUNGEST
Celtic Woman star Chloe (24) is the youngest member of the music group.
The camera, which is in a black leather case, has a colourful leather tag on it in the shape of an ice-cream cone which her name, Twink/Adele King, and address are on. She believes someone has it as it wasn't handed in at Dublin airport.
