AN Irish rapper has found himself on cloud nine after recording a song with Eminem's right-hand man.

Ahren-B, has been rapping since he was 13 years old. The artist was over the moon after US rapper Bizarre agreed to collaborate with him on his latest track.

Bizarre, who was a member of Eminem's D12 group, features on the song Limitless with the young Irish rapper.

Ahren, who studied sound engineering in Dublin for two years has spent the last few years working exclusively on his music.

"I studied in Dublin for two years. I learned a lot at it and really just developed the music I was interested in," he said.

This latest move is a huge breakthrough for the career of the Sligo man, who works from his own studio in Rathcormac.

"I'm just delighted. I still can't believe it. I grew up listening to these people and to have someone from D12 on a song with me is overwhelming, it really is," he said.

Ahren's dream came true when he approached the manager for Bizarre with his songs. "I got the contact details for his manager and just sent me some demos. I thought I would be waiting to hear from them if they got back at all, but they got back to me within an hour to say they were interested in Limitless and he would collaborate," he explained.

The song was Bizarre's first collaboration since leaving D12 and Ahren is hoping it won't be the last they work on together.
