Glenn (28), who plays for Stoke, will play a key role for Ireland in Euro 2012, which kicks off in 18 days' time.

Sunderland's John O'Shea and Wolves team-mates Stephen Hunt and Stephen Ward, and Paul McShane, joined the midfielder and his beautiful bride for the ceremony in St Philomena's Church in Palmerstown.

The reception took place at the Ritz-Carlton, where Robbie Keane and his wife Claudine had their wedding reception.

The players enjoyed their last few hours of freedom ahead of Irish manager Giovanni Trapattoni's training sessions.

Most of them returned to training camp yesterday as Ireland's preparations for the Championships got underway.

Others at the reception included West Brom's Keith Andrews, Coronation Street star Craig Charles and former England player James Beattie.
