I'm just pals with Niall -- says Nadia on rumours

The Diary can reveal how the pair sent the rumour mill into overdrive after being spotted at the same social events over the past few months.

But the Clontarf model (22) has insisted that she hasn't nabbed one of the most lusted-after men in Irish music.

"There's nothing going on between us, we're honestly just good friends. We've known each other for a while and would get on well," she told the Diary.

As well as being seen at the Global Party in the Wright Venue last month, she was also seen hanging out with the Blizzards star at the launch party for his new solo album on the same evening.

She went along with her fellow model pals Leah O'Reilly and Emily McKeown as they toasted his latest musical offering Colourblind Stereo -- but it seemed like Bressie (30) was very friendly with the petite brunette.

She said it was just down to having similar friends that they ended up at a lot of the same parties.

"We would have a lot of mutual friends in common and Dublin's a small place so it's only natural we're going to be at a lot of the same things. He's a great guy but there's nothing romantic going on between us."

Currently riding high on the success on his first solo album, Niall is certainly hitting all the right notes when it comes to his music, never mind his love life.

The London-based star, who's performing at The Academy on October 15, has spent the past few months flying back to Ireland after embarking on a promotional whirlwind for his latest release.

His first single Can't Stay Young Forever met with a great response and he's hoping for a similar reaction to his second single, Good Intentions.

But while he's more than happy to talk about his music, he prefers to keep his cards close to his chest when it comes to romance.

He hasn't been publicly linked with anyone since breaking up with Eva Maguire.

He dated the stunning jewellery designer for more than three years before the pair decided to go their separate ways.

When asked recently about his love life, he said he didn't have the time right now to have a serious relationship.
