I'll only come back to Voice if Jessie J does too, says Jones

TOM JONES has suggested he might return to the BBC version of The Voice only if Jessie J signs up again.

He said it was still "up in the air" about whether the coaches would come back for another stint next year -- and he said his involvement would be dependent on who else is on the panel.

The legendary singer spoke as speculation mounts over whether the judges will opt to return after the audience took a sharp fall following a promising start.

Asked by BBC Radio 2's Steve Wright if he will return, Tom said: "It's still up in the air. It all depends on who does it.

"I get on well with Jessie J. If we do another one, I'd like her to be there for definite. And will.i.am is doing a good job, and so is Daniel O'Donoghue."

Speaking on yesterday's show, he continued: "It would be nice if Jessie was there if I was going to sign again. Do I sign or don't I sign?

"If Jessie's there, it would make it a lot easier for me to want to do it again."

Tonight's edition of the show sees Jessie and Dubliner O'Donoghue's teams competing to continue in the contest. Both will lose a pair of acts this weekend.
