Ikea helps raise €57k
THE Ikea furniture store has raised thousands in funds for Unicef Ireland.
The Swedish company said for every soft toy, children's meal and children's book bought in the store, it would donate €1 -- bringing the amount to €56,907 raised for Unicef Ireland.
This donation from Ireland will now help support 18 Unicef educational projects in seven African countries, and two projects in Russia and China.
