I came to work in just bra, reveals Alex

One Show presenter Alex Jones has revealed she once turned up to work in just her bra -- after absent-mindedly forgetting to put on her T-shirt.

The TV host was among a number of celebrities asked to name their most red-faced moment in the run-up to this year's Comic Relief appeal.

Jones said: "My most embarrassing moment is leaving the house one morning, then when I got to work I took off my coat and sat down at my desk and realised that I had not put a T-shirt on -- I was sat there in my bra."

Comedian Miranda Hart said her worst moment was falling out of a train loo with her trousers around her ankles as passengers looked on.

The award-winning funnywoman, who stars in her own show Miranda -- moving to BBC1 this year -- said: "I fell through the door of the toilet which hadn't been locked, and was trouserless and pantless in front of a buffet queue in the train carriage."

The stars made their admissions for Comic Relief's Big Red Face Report, which surveys the incidents which have left people cringeing.

The report found that the leading source of embarrassment was breaking wind in public, followed by leaving their trouser zip undone and being overheard while whingeing about a colleague.

The survey also found the funniest celebrity embarrassing moment was when a baby elephant ran amok in the Blue Peter studio and trod on John Noakes's foot.

Second was Emu's attack on Michael Parkinson during his BBC1 chat show and third place went to Judy Finnigan for the moment her dress fell open on live TV.

Comic Relief organisers say they want people to get over their embarrassment to do something silly for Red Nose Day on Friday, March 18.
