THE husband of a former model will stand trial for her murder at the new Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin.

Businesswoman Celine Cawley (46) was found on the patio of her home in Howth on December 15, 2008.

She was pronounced dead a short time later in hospital.

Her husband Eamon Lillis (52) of Rowan Hill, Windgate Road, Howth, was charged with her murder on December 22, 2008 and was sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court. On Monday a jury will be selected for the trial, which is expected to last for up to three weeks.

Celine Cawley, a former model who appeared in the Bond movie A View To A Kill, was found lying on the back patio of the Howth home she shared with her husband and their daughter Georgia.

She was the founder and managing director of Toytown Films, a successful independent television company that produced adverts for major global brands since 1990.

The trial is set to begin on Monday at the new €140m CCJ, adjacent to the Phoenix Park in Dublin.
