A man accused in the deadly Tucson shooting rampage reportedly researched lethal injections, solitary confinement and political assassinations in the days before the attack, it has been reported.
Jared Loughner's alleged actions could help prosecutors as they begin the process of pursuing charges that could lead to the death penalty.
The January 8 shootings left six dead and 13 wounded including Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Giffords. Loughner has pleaded not guilty.
Owner furious over cat snip
A valuable pedigree cat that went missing in New Zealand turned up two days later a little different -- it had been surgically castrated.
Owner Michelle Curtis said she was furious, as she had considered using him as a stud cat.
"What am I supposed to do now? I can't exactly get someone to sew them back on," she said.
