Grainne has a ball with beau at rugby club's charity fundraiser
LOVED-UP presenter Grainne Seoige has been showing off her rugby skills as she lends her new boyfriend a helping hand for charity.
The 38-year-old was spotted at the Navan Rugby Club with player-turned-coach Leon Jordaan and seemed delighted to take part in a fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society.
She skipped the VIP Style Awards after-party and obviously enjoyed an early night to be in top form for the outing at the South African's side on Saturday. The Crimecall host swapped her glamorous one-shoulder dress from the awards for jeans, flat boots and a pink scarf at the Action Breast Cancer event.
The club was also trying to break a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive passes of a rugby ball.
Joy
An insider told the Herald that Grainne had a great time at the event and was thrilled to promote the cause.
The Galway girl recently spoke about her joy after her younger sister Sile had recovered after six months of treatment for thyroid cancer.
"The club didn't tell anyone that she'd be there, so Grainne could relax and just have a good time. But everyone was so happy to see her there and applauded when the members thanked her for helping out on the day," said a source.
The Co Meath club raised more than €50,000 over the weekend.
Grainne has become a regular attendee at the club -- the Herald previously revealed that the mum-of-one turned up to the annual president's dinner with her beau last month and spent the evening chatting and laughing with other guests.
