Golf WAGs on course for €4k shopping spree thanks to JP

Being a golf WAG certainly has its perks. After all, they're married to some of the most successful golfers on the planet,

But wives and girlfriends attending the JP McManus Pro Am Invitational this summer will be getting a €4,000 bonus -- courtesy of the generous millionaire.

It'll be more of a free shop than free drop for the better halves of all participating in this summer's tournament in Adare -- thanks to a voucher worth €4,000 that golfers' WAGs will receive upon arrival to spend in the Co Limerick village.

This year, a string of A-listers including Hugh Grant, Samuel L. Jackson, Desperate Housewives star Kyle McLachlan, Peter Gallagher and Aidan Quinn will all be playing, and it is not yet known of they will be joined by their partners as well.

One of the most highly anticipated golfers for this year's tournament is Tiger Woods -- although it still has not been confirmed whether or not the superstar athlete will be appearing this July.

The players' partners don't just receive a no-holds barred €4,000 gift -- a percentage of the profits go to charity, and the money that isn't spent also goes back to charity.

With some of the best known golfers in the world playing this year, the glamorous ladies expected to soak up the fashions on July 5 and 6 is Caroline Harrington, wife of three time Major winner Padraig; Liezl Els wife of South African golfer Ernie Els and Montserrat Bravo Ramirez, wife of Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez who won the Dubai Desert Classic in February.
