Glover back to give UCD punch
The latest series of Nivea For Men's SuperLeague fixtures sees UCD Marian host in-form DCU Saints on Saturday night, while Moycullen look to build on their solitary win this season at home to Bord Gais Neptune.
Unbeaten 11890 Killester face a tough assignment away to UCC Demons, Ulster Elks host UL Eagles and DCU Saints face their second game in as many days at home to Belfast Star.
TONIGHT
Nivea For Men's SuperLeague
Moycullen v Bord Gais Neptune,
Kingfisher Club NUIG, 6.0
Michael McGinn is expected to be available for Neptune's trip to Moycullen despite suffering a head injury in the club's win over UCD Marian last weekend. Moycullen have already suffered defeat to Pat Price's charges with a Gary Walsh inspired display helping the Cork giants to a nine-point win (85-76).
Cian Nihill remains absent for the Western outfit after he picked up an ankle injury in the recent defeat to 11890 Killester.
UCD Marian v DCU Saints,
UCD Sports Centre, 7.0
UCD Marian are heavily boosted by the return of Barry Glover ahead of their second instalment with Dublin rivals DCU Saints.
Mike Trimmer is also expected to return after missing DCU's win at home to Ulster Elks. UCD will be looking to atone for their earlier defeat to DCU Saints when they suffered a 92-75 loss in October.
IrishSport.TV Women's SuperLeague
UL v Waterford Wildcats, UL Arena, 7.0
New Zealand Olympian Natalie Taylor will be the main attraction as she makes her long awaited debut for UL against Waterford Wildcats.
Taylor, who represented her country at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is married to Connacht and New Zealand rugby star Ezra Taylor.
Cathy Kavanagh continues her recovery from a cruciate knee injury after featuring in last weekend's loss to DCU Mercy.
TOMORROW
Nivea For Men's SuperLeague
Ulster Elks v UL Eagles,
University of Ulster HPC, 2.30
UL Eagles are at full strength as they look to get their season back on track after suffering defeat in the 'battle of the giants' away to 11890 Killester last weekend.
Elks have pedigree in this fixture with the Northern side inflicting a 91-89 defeat on the Limerick outfit towards the latter stages of last season. Deirdre Brennan's Elks are at full strength and will be looking to end a run of six consecutive defeats.
UCC Demons v 11890 Killester,
Mardyke Arena, 3.15
11890 Killester make the trip to the Mardyke Arena without Paddy Kelly (broken collar bone), Kieran O'Brien (work commitments) and Eric Westbrooks (foot injury).
Demons have suffered just one defeat this season but will be without Niall O'Reilly, who has emigrated to Australia, for the rest of the season. A clash that rarely disappoints, their last meeting in February saw the Dubliners edge a three-point win in the Mardyke Arena.
DCU Saints v Belfast Star,
DCU Sports Complex, 4.0
Star's Ciaran McVeigh didn't feature in the club's win at home to Moycullen in their last outing but is likely to make the trip to Dublin. The sides met as recently as November 13 when DCU emerged from a titanic battle with three points following a slender 91-88 win.
Saints' Eanna Rutherford impressed against Ulster Elks last weekend. Eanna was an U20 star at Swords Basketball Club last season who are a structured link club with Saints.

DCU Mercy v 11890 Killester, DCU Sports Complex, 2.0
Mercy head coach Mark Ingle has a full quota as they bid for back-to-back wins against their near neighbours 11890 Killester.
Killester almost claimed victory at home to Dynamos last week but Tanya McGrath's basket ensured they couldn't complete their comeback. Killester will take hope from their last encounter with Mercy, when they recorded a shock 59-56 win in February.
Meteors v Team Montenotte Hotel Cork, Coláiste Eoin/Íosagáin, 3.0
Meteors will be without Kate McDaid, Eimhear Browne and Katie Kilbride as they prepare to face a daunting challenge in the shape of Team Montenotte Hotel Cork. Montenotte will be without Denise Walshe as they look to build on their dramatic 58-55 win over UL last weekend.
