Galway call on AN Other
HURLING NEWS
GALWAY have recalled one of hurling's long-forgotten heroes - AN Other - for Sunday's Allianz League top-flight trip to Tipp!
The left corner-back position was initially left vacant because of injuries but was due to be finalised following fitness tests on Pádraig Mannion and Fergal Moore last night.
Manager Anthony Cunningham still went ahead and named a team in advance.
Neither Mannion nor Moore featured in last Sunday's opening Division 1A victory over Clare at Pearse Stadium, when Ronan Burke played in the left corner.
While the No 4 jersey remains up for grabs, otherwise the team selected against Tipperary is unchanged from the one that edged out the Banner through Jason Flynn's injury-time free.
