Funding for hospice

Lloyds Pharmacy, Ireland's largest pharmacy group, has partnered with the Irish Hospice Foundation as its charity of the year.

The group, which has 80 stores nationwide, will run events that will result in a percentage of sales going to the foundation. Staff will also take part in a fundraising activity weekend in October.

"The Irish Hospice Foundation does not receive any core funding from the State and this partnership is very welcome. We look forward to helping spread the message of what we do through Lloyds Pharmacy." said Sharon Foley, CEO.
