Fireman settles his stress case
A FIREMAN who claimed he suffered post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of alleged intimidation and harassment while working in a fire station in Mayo has settled his High Court action for damages.

Mayo County Council contended the action was statute barred and denied all the claims. When the case was called before Ms Justice Iseult O'Malley yesterday she was told it had been settled and could be struck out.

US District Judge Kevin Castel found there was "probable cause to believe" that the nearly complete Tyrannosaurus bataar skeleton is subject to forfeiture. It will eventually be returned to Mongolia.
