dublin u15 hurling shield finals
Conor Carberry proved the scorer-in-chief as Naomh Fionnbarra claimed the Dublin U15 'B' Hurling Shield title following a thrilling 4-13 to 1-17 success over Ballinteer St John's in The Bogies last Sunday morning.
Tadhg Stone, Jake O'Connor and full-forward were others to impress for the hosts while Mark O'Neill added a crucial goal for Finbarrs.
The 'D' final was a high-quality affair as Good Counsel produced a superb second-half display when overcoming St Maur's by 3-14 to 1-4 on Galtymore Road.
The hosts were three points ahead at the break but the efforts of Eoin Lightfoot, Josh O'Brien, Adam Quinn and Luke Dolan saw Counsel home comfortably.
In Tymon Park, twins Josh & Eoin Lambert were hugely influential as Thomas Davis defeated St Jude's by 2-11 to 3-4 in the 'C' final.
Jack Lowth and Noah Farrell found the net for Thomas Davis and with Karl Brennan and Cian Cooke showing well in the away defence, James Byrne and Darren Byrne struck crucial points to see the visitors home by four points.
The 'A' final was a typically tight affair with Cuala having sufficient quality to eventually get the better of a battling Naomh Barróg by 0-15 to 2-4 in Pairc Barróg.
The 'E' final was similarly tight as Commercials enjoyed a hard-earned 1-12 to 1-5 victory over Stars of Erin in Glencullen.
