Fenlon remains calm

Friday's 0-0 draw at home to UCD means that Bohs have managed just one win from the past seven league games, while the Gypsies have won just once at Dalymount Park in the league all season, a contentious 1-0 victory over Sporting Fingal. So there is some apprehension among the home support as they play host to Drogheda United tonight.

"It's not worrying for me, we're six points behind the league leaders with a game in hand," Fenlon said.

"We have got too used to winning games here at Dalymount and people here get the hump when we don't win games, but that's the way it is.

"I can't fault the players for their effort or application, At the moment we're just not getting that lucky break.

"I am disappointed with Friday's result. We did enough to win the game against UCD. We had enough chances to win it but it's not the end of the world.

"Our passing was good but our final ball let us down a bit at times, we looked a bit nervy. I can't ask any more of the players, it's just not happening for us at the moment.

"The players are giving everything they have, it's a matter of keeping going and hopefully it will turn for us. You have to keep working hard and that's what we'll do," added Fenlon, who could hand a first league start to former Galway United man Aaron Greene tonight after an impressive display against UCD.

"We'll probably have the same scenario tonight, a lot of people behind the ball and it's up to us to break then down so people will have to be patient," said Fenlon.

"If we move the ball as quickly as we did on Friday, and improve on our final ball, we should pick up the three points and move on."
