Fantastic four for jockey Carberry

JOCKEY Paul Carberry notched up a 927/1 four-timer in the eight-race meeting at Ballinrobe last night.

Carberry's easiest winner was John Carr's 10/1 shot Turnonthegas which scooted clear in the Connacht Spring Show Handicap Hurdle. Noel Meade's Six Stone Ned started ball rolling for the jockey when capturing the opening maiden hurdle.

Number two came courtesy of Adrian Murray's Fairymount Lord (11/4 favourite) which found a burst of speed after the last to edge Our Nana Rose by a head in the Killeen Sports Grounds Handicap Hurdle. The Meath rider completed his winning haul on Meade’s Corskeagh Royale in the novice chase.
