Yummy mummy Jackie to bring her feisty style to TV3's Housewives show

YUMMY mummy Jackie Rafter is set to spice up new reality series Southside Housewives.

The businesswoman, model and mother-of-two has been added to the cast of the TV3 show, the Herald can reveal.

With scenes for the new show already filming, the full cast can now be revealed Jackie is set to star alongside solicitor Gerald Kean's fiancee Lisa Murphy, model mum-to-be Virginia Macari and Botox queen Dr Danielle Meagher.

The programme will mimic the popular Bravo series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Former manager of the Wright Venue Jackie, who was married to celebrity hairdresser David Marshall, has been added to the line-up of Dublin housewives set to be followed by cameras every day for five months.

An insider close to the new show revealed: "The producers were chasing after a few different people for this show and Jackie was one of the top girls they wanted. She is a well-known socialite in Dublin as well as running Wright's Dalkey Dispensary, so she has the full package.

The feisty businesswoman made a sensational comeback to modelling just two years ago when she signed up with model agent John Compton. She made her name as a teen model after competing in Miss Boatshow in 1981.

Meanwhile, a relatively unknown businesswoman will be joining the socialite ladies in the brand new show. Owner of JJ carpets and charity supporter Jo Jordan, who is separated from her husband, will come into the show as an outsider.

"Most people won't know Jo but she is a hugely successful business owner. There are a lot of feisty personalities in the show, and you can be sure that not everyone will get along," a source explained.

As well as following Jo's charity work and Jackie's modelling career, cameras will also be there every step of the way for the lavish wedding of Lisa and Gerald.
