We want Kitty to win so we can sing with her -- Jedward

JEDWARD want X Factor diva Kitty Brucknell (26) to win -- because they'll share the stage with the outrageous blonde if she gets to the show's final.

Wacky John and Edward Grimes (20) have revealed she is their favourite contestant from this year's series as she's such a great performer, and they hope to duet with her.

"We're backing Kitty to win because she's crazy, she's different and we get to perform with her if she gets to the final. They have a list of people to perform with her and we're on that list. We want to do a Britney Spears medley with her," Edward said.

The Lucan pair also rushed to defend the show that first propelled them into the limelight, and said Louis Walsh and the team were doing a great job.

COOL

"X Factor is way cooler than shows like Strictly Come Dancing. We haven't had as much time to watch it as we've been doing lots of crazy things but I think it's still cool," he continued.

Their manager Louis Walsh has also been trying to get them to go on a double date with Little Mix and John revealed how he thought member Leigh-Anne Pinnock was "cool". "I like the one with the reddish hair. I think they're really cool. When they get old, they'll be called Old Mix. It would be cool to go on a double date but we're too busy right now for girlfriends," he added.

The pair went on to say how performing with Britney Spears at The O2 in London last week was a dream come true for them.

"We've been to see Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry and her concert was the best. It was totally cool. I wish people would stop criticising her and realise she's still amazing," Edward said. As well as filming their new RTE show OMG! Jedward's Dream Factory, they also filmed the video for new single Wow Oh Wow with Tara Reid. But they'll be home shortly when they begin work on their panto Jedward And The Beanstalk which is sponsored by the Herald.

Jedward And The Beanstalk runs in the Olympia Theatre from December 21-January 8, tickets on sale now
