All at sea

Titanic with Len Goodman

BBC1, 6.30pm The story of the doomed ship takes a surreal twist as the Strictly Come Dancing judge (and former welder) explores the legacy of the famous ship, and discovers how the press created heroes and went in search of villains. He tells the story of the respectable sea captain who was partly blamed for the demise of more than 1,500 passengers, but was not cleared until a vital piece of evidence was found after he died.
