Vogue Does Straight As: Reality Bites

Model Vogue Williams  investigates what it takes to get 600 points in the Leaving Cert exams, and decides to retake them to see if she can improve her original tally.

Along the way, she meets some students who achieved the maximum score, as well as people who never got a Leaving Cert and ended up successes, and spends time at a centre for exceptionally talented children to meet prodigies of the future.


Modern Times: Secret Life of Cleaners

With access to workers and their employers, this documentary lifts the lid on what the British public’s cleaners really think about them, and also tells the story of an invisible class struggling to earn a living and make a life in the UK.

Neven catches up with broadcaster Aine Lawlor at her allotment in Co Wicklow, where she grows most of her fruit and vegetables throughout the year, before he prepares dishes including rib-eye steak with chimichurri, and crispy chicken thighs with puy lentils.


Our World: Kidnapped for a Decade

BETWEEN 2002 and 2004, Ariel Castro kidnapped three young women and held them prisoner until one of them escaped in 2013. In this documentary, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus talk to Kirsty Wark about their harrowing ordeal at the hands of Castro, revealing how they and fellow victim Michelle Knight survived.
