A bit of a misleading title, given that the band are in the throes of a lengthy world tour that doesn't finish until December. One of the most successful British bands of the past three decades, Simply Red are banging out hit after hit from their back catalogue that helped shift a staggering 50 million albums worldwide. Hosted by Christine Bleakley, there's also an exclusive interview with frontman Mick Hucknall.



A KIND OF MAGIC

Merlin BBC1, 7pm

After the high drama of the first two episodes, this week there's some welcome comic relief as physician Gaius behaves like a man possessed. His tomfoolery causes chaos in the royal household. Also, the demure Gwen steps up to help Merlin solve the ills of the world.

Total Wipeout Celebrity BBC1, 6pm

Richard Hammond and Amanda Byram return for the second star-studded edition of the gruelling but hilarious show. Ten famous faces try their luck on the formidable and high-adrenaline obstacle course. Former Bucks Fizz star Cheryl Baker (right), actor Jeremy Edwards and Olympians John Regis and Katharine Merry all take their chances.
