SHUTTING DOWN RAIL HORROR LOVE CHILD BOYS WILL BE BOYS

The IT Crowd Channel 4, 10pm

Tonight's final episode logs off with plenty of humour and quick-fire gags. Douglas gets married but the honeymoon period doesn't last long -- just two weeks to be exact. The nuptials come to a premature end when Douglas reassesses life as a married man.

Not for the first time, star geeks Moss, Roy and Jen (Katherine Parkinson, right) are the fall guys and get hauled before the divorce courts to defend their beleaguered boss.

RAIL HORROR

First Cut: One Under Channel 4, 7.30pm

Having to utter the phrase 'one under' is an ever-present nightmare for London Tube drivers. It's the term used when a person commits suicide by jumping under a train. Debbie Wickens received a text from her husband John telling her he was about to take his own life; moments later he jumped in front of a speeding train. Drivers describe the emotional turmoil caused by such incidents.

LOVE CHILD

My Family BBC1, 9pm

An Aussie backpacker turns up at the Harper household looking for a place to stay. The lad's mother went to university with Ben, so for old time's sake he's allowed to pitch a tent in the Harper's backyard. However, the man could be Ben's secret son from a one-night stand he had at university.

BOYS WILL BE BOYS

The Old Guys BBC1, 9.30pm

The saying 'two's company, three's a crowd' springs to mind when a burst pipe leads Sally to move in with Tom and Roy. Pandering to her every whim, the efforts by the cantankerous twosome to impress their new guest fail spectacularly.
