it turns out even the glamorous Sarah Jessica Parker can't resist temptation when it comes to an Irish fry-up.

The actress and her husband Matthew Broderick surprised locals when they stopped off at a cafe in Derry last week for one last Irish brekkie before jetting back to the US.

The couple and their three kids "cleared their plates" in Doherty's cafe in Bridgend in Co Derry.

The movie stars had been enjoying a break in their cottage in Kilcar, Donegal.

The Sex and the City star and her family were left to enjoy their breakfast by fellow customers.

"We were all starstruck - but at the same time no one wanted to bother them by asking for pictures. But some took a few sneaky snaps as they sat across the room," one customer told the Sunday Life magazine.

"They chatted away to the staff who couldn't believe they were serving up frys to two of the world's biggest film stars."

The celeb couple are regular visitors to Donegal and have hinted that they may eventually settle there.

New Yorker Broderick spent summers in the scenic village as a child.

His wife recently admitted that it already feels like home.
