Fans of horror drama Penny Dreadful will be delighted to hear the show will be returning for a third season - which means a lot more of Josh Hartnett on our screens.
Other Hollywood heavyweights in the show include former Bond stars Eva Green and Timothy Dalton and Reeve Carney.
The show is set in Victorian London and draws on characters from 19th century fiction such as Dorian Gray from Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray and Mina Harker and Abraham Van Helsing from Bram Stoker's Dracula.
The popular series will once again be filming across Dublin with production expected to begin this autumn.
Showtime and Sky Atlantic have commissioned a further nine episodes of the John Logan-directed series which will be shown in 2016.
The second season is currently still airing and also stars Irish actress Sarah Greene (inset).
Over the past few episodes Vanessa Ives - played by Eva Green - and Harnett's character Ethan Chandler have formed a close bond as their group join forces against evil.
Sky Atlantic director Zai Bennett said he is "thrilled" the show is returning for another season.
"Penny Dreadful is the perfect fit for Sky Atlantic; truly international in scale and ambition but with a raft of British talent at its core, and filmed in Ireland," he said.
"I'm thrilled to have the series returning to the channel."
Earlier this year, stars of the show were snapped shooting at various locations across the capital including Francis Street in the south inner city, Temple Bar, the Guinness Brewery and Marlay Park.
As well as this, Josh and his co-star Billie Piper were spotted socialising at popular music venue Whelan's.
It has been estimated that the economy benefited to the tune of €33m from the filming of the first season.
Eva Green recently said "it's a real pleasure" to film the show in Ireland.
"The people here are amazing. It's the kindest crew I've ever worked with and I'm not just saying that," she said.
